I need to post vids and pics.

Ok I've driven about 400 miles so far. And it's as quiet as stock but only under steady speed 35-60mph. It's louder EVERYWHERE else. And it seems to be loudest at heavy throttle up over 2500rpms. Also worth noting is 65+mph. Sat I drove it up north (5hr total) and it's not enough to get annoying.. but you can hear it the whole time. Even have to turn the radio up a bit (with the windows up).

So.. YES it's definately louder. There is no mistaking it. And IMO it's a very nice kit because at those steady crusing conditions it's quiet. (nice to live with daily)

I did take some pics sat when I was up north.. I'll post those pics tonight.

Actually those kits were not Magnaflow its be proven they are dynamax or dynaflow mufflers but similar design to Magnaflow

Nice kit!

No pics of it installed?

Here are some pics of the tips. You can see how they flare outward a bit. Once I get the tow bars square tube ends shaved down.. I know the pass side will fit perfectly. Not too sure about the drivers side though? No matter.. I'll make them look even when I get around to it.

The kit has 2.5" smooth bent pipes and 3" polished tips. All SS

IMO there just were no good and clear videos of what it sounded like. So I made one that's fairly accurate.

The raw vid is 24mb and is even clearer in sound. If anyone wants it.. let me know where to post it too.

Update June 08

The tips were rattling against the tow bar. And the right rear hanger was squeeking aginst the leaf spring. Quite annoying to say the least.

So, I had a local shop make some new 2ft long tail pipes. (cut down and re-polished the tips myself)

I was supprised at how much quieter it is! I was not expecting that to happen. It's still got the same sound. Just quieter.
Up around 70mph it's now almost in-audible. That's nice because after a while it gets annoying. Just wish it had more low end rap to it.

To do this all over again.. I'd had a local shop just make me a 2.5" SS system with no muffler and exit as pictured.

Regards,
Rich
