keep magnaflow or go flowmaster??

ok ive had a magnaflow exhaust for a little over a year, and just not quite happy with it, not sure why dont really like the sound i guess, anyway, 100$ and i can have a flowmaster in the place of my magnaflow,

-should i do it?
-would you?

and ive done plenty of resarch on this and no for sure answer or conclusion, some magnaflows i think sound good, but not mine.

i love magnaflows, put them on the last three vehicles i've had, but if you don't like it get something different. everyone has different opinions but it's your's that matters.

are you going for sound?

Magnaflow is the better muffler, performance wise. However, if you don't like the sound, go for the flows.

If i was in that situation, i'd keep the Magnaflows.. i love the Magna's...

Yeah I've heard from several muffler places that flowmaster will give you a better sound to the ear the magnaflow, but you'll get better performance with magnaflow. I kind of believe that myself but I know several people that prefer flowmaster over magnaflow and they buy from the shops that I had gone to. I'm thinking about puttin flowmaster on my 4.0L ranger. But I think 2.5 in is too big if going from cat to the end. I think you'll be fine with 2.25 in. then a 2.5 tip or sumthin

I'm still having iner strifes on whether to go flowmaster or dynomax. I like the flowmaster sound, but don't want to go nuts from it. And I also love the dynomax low rumble at low rpms. And I need to decide soon because i have the date of installation set at next friday.

I love my Magnaflow and think Flowmasters are a bit obnoxious. Wait I take that back..some FM's are obnoxious. Some sounds ok. I don't like a loud exhaust and since I leave for work at 4:30am I don't wanna **** off any neighbors so it works out well. I love Magnaflow

magnaflow and dynamax fall somewhere else....

they're all good mufflers...but everyone has their favorites....

Magnaflow has been proven to have the best performance. Flowmasters definately have the best sound, I went for performance and got Magnaflow.

too bad you dont have a signature so we can tell what kind of truck and the specs you got.
