Bottom line is V-6's suck for sound.... But alas, if you don't have the money for a V-8 swap or you dump all of your money into your Mustang, like me, your stuck with it. I will vote for 50 Delta Series Flows though, Anything louder, and it just roars too much and your neighbors hate you. Haven't heard the Mags, but the quality is supposed to be second to none.

untill you get rusty holes in the pipe, then it sounds like crap and is loud.

that isnt the flowmaster's fault.... thats the 4cylinder engine ;o)

i had a 40 series on my 97 ranger and the guy tried to dissuade me from gettin git, saying it'd be too loud and i'd get pulled over. i had him install it anyways, and i thought it sounded great. not as loud as i thought it was going to be... but then again, i had the 2.3l in that one too :o)

I had my exhaust custom bent from the CAT back. ITs a Flowmaster 40 single in and dual out. I think the pipe out of the cat and all the way back is 2 1/4 inch with 3 inch stainless tips. i love it, sounds great. ill send you a sound clip i made of it if you wanna hear it. just shoot me an email at crawly1025@comcast.net. im really happy with the flowmaster, the only other exhaust i think id buy is Gibson. ive heard good things about them.
