Leaking Front Main Seal

I got my 58k mile junkyard 4.0 SOHC engine in my 2002 FX4 and it's running great but i got a small leak coming out of the front main seal. It looks like the seal is spinning with the crank, unless that's a dust shield i see. Anyway, has anyone done this? Is it as easy as pulling off the harmonic balancer and prying the seal out and popping a new one in? Any input would be appreciated.

If you mean the grey thing, that's a shield. It comes off with the HD. Looking on my engine from my wreck it appears that easy....looks like a rear but in the front! Someone who has done it may have more info....

If you need any pics I have mine torn apart at home in the garage.....

It is easy to change. If you can pull the harmonic balance off I would leave the cover on the engine. Pry the old one out and slide the new one on. Just don't push in in to far.
