Will do, I'll say running no muffler on a 3.0 sounds awesome at idle and at 2000 rpms but everything else it sucks. It drones horrible on the highway as well.

I think my next muffler will be the magnaflow 5"x8" single inlet dual outlet with some stainless steel tips. Clean look, clean sound. What exact muffler do you run (i assume magnaflow) D. ?

Wow, thanks for the information! Now i noticed you run the dual in dual out. Now would that require 2 cats as well? It says 3" in 2 1/4" out. So you have it 3" in, and then had it come out to 2" tail pipes correct? with the 3" inlet pipe(s)? Any pictures of what your set up looks like? I mean my main goal is to have a nice sounding v6. Not try to make it sound like a cammed 'stang ha. Now typically, since my 4.0 has 207hp stock, what would (ball park figure) i get for performance gains?

Also, is there any benefits of runing a di/do muffler on a stock truck? or would going with a single inlet dual outlet be a better choice?

Just go on youtube. There are tons of Ranger exhaust clips... pretty much every kind of muffler too.

Im pretty sure it would be the same in terms of noise, but I hear the si/so generates more horsepower, dont ask me how.

Yeah I wouldnt trust it. SOme people use camera phones, and even camcorders don't pick up the sound and record it "truthfully". Ever seen someone you knwo in a home video, and you know that their voice sounds a little off. The camcorder won't pick up a deep rumble, etc.
