Icon10 new exhaust done

muffler002.jpg?t=1185365778 went with the 40 series dumped did the cheater way and just got an adapter to bump the 2 inch pipe to 2.5 for the flowmaster. it a decent amount quiter than my glasspack so i dont know how there made loud but owell got rid of the drown when at 3thousand rpm that drove me nuts on the highway so i guess it was worth the 120 and seeing my gf take the old off and put the new on was nice as...........P.S dont drive to the auto part store wiht no muffler it hurts ur ears lol

holy exhaust clamp batman...

I would take it somewhere and have at least 4 of the clamps just welded...

yeah.. i agree with the 'get it all welded up' statements.. but just give it time to break in, although like I said before, an si/do would've been louder, and if you had more of a turndown it might be a little louder as well.

This is how mine looked when I first got exhaust done on my ranger back in '04:

well.. then i'd check those things every now and then.. remember with all that expansion and cooling they're bound to come loose

It'd drive me nut knowing that my exhaust was clamped and not welded.
