New Exhaust:Good and Bad

Well i got my exhaust done today. It sounds sweet, until i really get on it goin down the road. It makes a whistling sound so loud that it sounds like a missile. Its terrible. Plus, the package that the tips came in said that they were 3" but they ended up bein 3.5". Theyre pretty big. Ill post up some pictures if i can find a usb cable. I like the way it looks, didnt gain much performance, but it does sound really good.
anybody got any ideas why it would make that sound?

also an exhaust on a stock ranger you wont hardly notice it at all for performance, i dont care what any one says it really doesnt help tons.

Yeah I would wait a little bit, perhaps the muffler just isn't broken in yet.

That happened to a friend of mine when he got his exhaust. We just went out and did a few burn outs and it stoped after a while. I think there was some packing paper in his pipes from when they shipped it.

Hmm, i doubt its the muffler, unless something is trapped in there, maybe paper or something.....Plus the exhaust paired with a new air fintake is best for performance wise.

Thanks! Ive got other pictures of the underneath setup and everything but my computer wont load em. Ill keep tryin. Do those tips look to big?
The noise has gotten better but its still there, plus my truck acts like its missing in first gear...it will accelerate and then hold for a millisecond and do it again about 2 more times.
I dont know whats goin on.

Its fixed!!!!! Im so happy!!
All it was was were he cut into the main pipe for the y. He stuck the pipe in the other pipe too far so it was blowing over the pipe like blowing over the top of a bottle.
So now i officially have a new exhaust system!
