New exhaust idea

I have an idea about a new exhaust setup, I am relativly happy with my exhaust, but was thinking about this as a future change or maybe an idea for someone else.....

run one pipe back to the stock muffler location and split it, then have 2 flowmaster hushpower mufflers, one on each side of the truck, these mufflers are 5.5" wide, 4" high and 24" long (FYI they are NOT like glass packs, they have baffles). After the mufflers put some nice tips on. Would this work? Any performance gain or loss? What about the sound, would it be unique? This is just brainstorming so I want to hear everyones thoughts!

Well with the hushpowers on a v6 it wouldn't be very loud, maybe a low rumble. It would still sound good though, and you would get better mpg just for being Flowmaster

^^^ I just wonder what the performance would be? Also having 2 mufflers like that, I wonder what kind of sound it would have.....

IMO, i would just do a si/do flowmaster and pipe it out the back.
not sure if they make the hushpower in a si/do muffler, they should.

They don't make it that way, its too small, I was just asking because allot of cars have this setup if you look under them, they "Y" off in the back and have 2 mufflers, I was just wondering what type of sound and performance could be exspected from this setup on a Ranger....
