crazy exhaust idea

ok so i have this idea for exhaust that i havent seen in here b4, but i dont know if itll reduce the exhaust velocity too much or not.

i was thinking about having a dual exahust set up that had single inlet(2.5) and duel exit(2.25) mufflers exiting infront of the rear wheels on each side with bigger tips on each pipe. exit angle and tip style dont really matter

ofcouce keeping the cats on
tell me what you think... im prepaird for it lol
is this any diff from a regular dual setup

so u want it to exit on both sides in front of the rear tires.

if so, only problems are the transfer case, if u have one and fuel tank.

Nah, fuel tank does pose a very big and very real problem though, I don't like the two tip sizes, but whatever floats your boat man!!

not gunna happen until you get a centermounted fuel cell... plus you have to either weave it through or under your driveshaft..

I meant like a corvette exhaust... coming out into a rollpan, course you'd have to toss the spare to make it fit

Yeah, plastic gas tanks and hot exhaust pipes don't really go too well together.

Performance wise you wouldn't have any problem.
It may be more trouble than it's worth to get around the fuel tank though.
Depending on the angles and type of muffler it may or may not sound right though.
I would stay with a larger diameter, quiet type muffler to keep the note fairly low.
It would probably be easier to run two outlets either out the rear or to one side.
Also keep in mind that some states regulate where the pipes can exit the truck.
Most require that it extends at least past the furthest side window, which can be a problem if you ever intall a camper cap.
