First oil leak

At 153k and its the rear main seal.

That sux man, Im at 107k and I have a nice oil leak from the oil filter adapter I need to fix just need to build up the funds

I'm at 192k now and it really seems to leak now. How hard is it to replace it and what kind of seal is it.

The trans needs to come out along with flywheel/flexplate. You need a special tool to seat the new seal without damaging it.

Shouldn't be too bad provided you can remove the trans yourself.

Did you make sure the PCV valve isn't plugged? just a cheap part to replace and it fixed the rear main leak I had on one of my F150s.
