Icon11 Ranger wont start, HELP!

HELP!

My 2002 ranger wont start. It's a 4.0 SOHC, and I just got back from driving it about 130 miles. The engine was running sluggish, and when I was at a stop light running idle, it acted like it was going to stall and the oil needle was jumping around. I had just put plugs and wires on the week before because it was doing the same thing. After about 3 days it started back up and ran it for a week and now its dead again. Any suggestions? It's got about 190k miles on it.

well the oil needle jumping isnt a good sign...it almost sounds like a bad MAF sensor

I cleaned the MAF sensor, but no luck. Is there a way to test it to see if its bad?

The truck will crank, but will not start. I can hear the fuel pump buzz, but seems like its not firing. I checked one of the plugs and it has great spark. Any suggestions?

did the fuel filter work?

Could be fuel interia switch if your truck has that, but the oil pressure gauge wouldnt go nuts
crank shaft position sensor?
electronic ignition component
clogged fuel injector/ fuel filter
Oil Pump?

Any lights?
