*RP caster Kit ^spelled it wrong, sorry rpc!
Oh man i am so exited boost is going to be fun!
The plan is to get some super coupe 30bl injectors and a tune file from one of the tuners. Maby Fred from rouge tuning or Bama or whatever.
also need a few gauges. i am going to try and make it look stock so i will be painting the m90 with high temp black paint.

So.. maybe a set of 36lbs or 42lbs would be cheaper. Most likely newer w/less use too.

chainfire Whats the condition of the S/C? For peice of mind, I would consider getting it rebuilt, you never know.
fddriver02 Does it have an oval or square inlet?
I`ve been pushing 300+rwhp for two years now and not a single problem with the tranny...
Just so you know.. your not limited to 30lb injectors. You could use even bigger injectors. The tuner will change a chart for what ever you choose.

^that is a very good point. If i am only running the stock 5 1/2 lbs of boost would 36lb injectors be over kill? and would they change my mpg, for the worse? Im thinking of getting junk yard injectors or finding somebody with an extra set, Correct me if im wrong but i think i could use 30lb injectors from a stock mustang gt?
thanks guys !!!

There is no problem at all running a larger injector. As long as your tuner adjusts for them.. you'll never ever see a problem. IMO just get a set of 36 or 42's that have the least use on them. (Lightnings used 42's)
A larger injector simply means that it has more ability to flow a higher volume. As long as the tune is right.. you'll never know the difference between a 42lb and a 19lb in daily driving. Oh.. and you don't want to push an injector past 80% duty cycle. So.. too small an injector is only going to wear them out faster.

Along with the injectors, you are gonna need a fuel supply boost. Maybe a "Boost-a-pump" from Kenny Bell or some other possibility to get plenty of fuel to your new setup.
Just to let you know,......when I SC'ed my Mustang, I chose 42# Injectors and a real Cobra Tank with dual pumps and baffels. Makes no sense to install SC, Injectors, etc.........if your tune cannot be set at optimum because you have a lack of proper fuel flow pressure.

i was thinking about getting a up rated fuel pump, basically to match the explorer express x charger kit, but Ron's web site states that the stock pump dose fine , and is not needed, for mild boost- 5.5 lbs so i will just leave it.
i am also going a step colder in the spark plug department.

I pushed a small bit of rag into the pipe, and ground out the end so that it's bigger than the supply pipe. Pulled the rag and flushed from the opposite end with gas. Let it dry and did the same with the other end.
With no other mods to my fuel system I can push the a/f down in the mid 9s. Maybe further.. haven't tried..
If he's only going to push 6psi.. I'd personally try replacing the fuel filter and just see what the stock system will do.
I'd put the blower on and just see if it would push the a/f down into the low 11s at 6psi. If so.. back the fuel off until your seeing mid 12s.
Oh and btw.. I have experience with blowers like this.. Your "heat" and therefor needed fuel requirements are all gonna happen up in third gear. W/O a intercooler MAKE SURE it's pushing low to mid 12s a/f up in third gear. Best way is to do a 1/4 mile run on the dragstrip. Or.. maybe on a dyno. Just doing a pull in third on a dyno is not enough. Especially if it's a dynojet.. get it out to a mustang dyno, out on a country road, or the dragstrip and make a 0-85mph pull recording the a/f. That's how you'll know it's "safe".

Very true. You need to load that motor just as if it were at the end of a 1/4 mile (or at an extended rpm pull) to get the timing & a/f right. Without a intercooler it's that much more important too.
Although.. were only talking 6psi on a non-intercooled eaton. If he had a wideband and a x-cal he could work with a tuner to get the tune right. It would take some trial and error.. as well as a patient tuner. But it's doable via e-mail.
