02 ford Ranger....starter went out..Less than 100,000 miles....everything original so..replaced everything....new starter....starter relay....ignition switch and battery....turn key....NOTHING....what's wrong????
All connections read correct...12.36 volts at the battery.....12.36 at the starter where cables connect. I am stumped.

Are you sure the battery is charged and connected properly? Same question for the other parts, are you sure everything is hooked up and grounded properly? I'm not sure if you can just change out the ignition switch like that due to the security system "PATS". Do you have a light on the dash with a lock symbol?

Battery and starter are hooked up correctly....have 12.36 volts at the battery, and the same at the starter connection with the cables.

Will check to see if I have a "Lock" symbol on the dash and, no there is no 'Lock" symbol on dash when turning on ignition, just regular lights
