Serpentine belt squeal

I’ve got a 2001 ford ranger xlt with a really bad belt squeal, I’ve replaced the idler pulley, power steering pump and pulley, and the belt tensioner and it hasn’t fixed it. The belt on right now has about 3-4k miles on it, so I didn’t get a new belt after replacing these parts. Should I look into a new belt? Or is it something else?

^^Bad or gummed up bearings. Does the alternator spin freely?

Make sure the engine is stone cold, take the belt off and start the engine and listen. With the belt off you can either confirm or disprove pulleys and the such. You can let the engine run for a minute or so before you NEED to turn it off. It's amazing how long a minute can actually be listening. You may start and stop the engine as many times as you need as long as you wait until its stone cold again. Good luck

I’ll try looking at both of those ideas, thanks! Also I’ve got no ac in my truck because the owner before me had the compressor removed and installed a bypass pulley, does anybody know the part number for the mounting bracket for a 2001 4.0 v6 xlt or where I could find the part?

I'd seek a salvage yard.
I just tried a couple of sites and they didn't reach that far down the tech ladder.
You know they're out there.

My 2003 4.0L has a squeal - a chirp of variable intensity actually - that is the belt itself. As little as one drop of water on the running belt can make it disappear. Have tried silicone spray and belt dressing, which last longer than the water, but not enough to be a practical solution. It typically comes and goes, so I just live with it. I carry a spare belt, but have not put it on.
