A sohc engine is different than a regular pushrod motor. I don;t think they have "rocker arms" persay.

they kinda have rocker arms but you cant get aftermarket ones to get more lift...you would want to look into cams to get more lift

they are called followers and they are "roller" from the factory. the ratio on the followers are 1.86 so I really doubt you want to change them. The factory ones are in it for the win.

only way that will do any good is if you follow it up with a full exhaust system (headers, cats, mufflers, ect.) and to really make it worth wile, forced induction...

well i plan on building a ranger soon. I want to run a 94 body style and I am gonna build my own custom long travel setup and I wanna build a 4.0 SOHC with a eaton 112 blower. I know what I am gonna use for heads, cams, pistons, rods, work to the crank. I just wasnt sure about the rockers...or followers as some one said up above. I have done work to OHV motors just never on a SOHC.

now that the 4.0 sohc has been introduced into the mustang world, things have changed. there are more and more parts becoming readily available every day.

i think that advanced adaptors makes them for the OHV......and if they do, it will bolt to the SOHC also.....the transmission bell housing is the same bolt pattern.....(i just put a SOHC manual transmission on my OHV and all the bolts lined up...)
