Actually from what Ive heard the Throttle body on the ranger isnt an issue. A spacer sure wont do anything either.

I really wouldnt worry about the throttle body and its components. Also I would highly suggest you take the "tornado" out of your truck.

i'm no mechanic, but if i remember correctly, the throttle bodies equipt with the 4.0's are not an issue for power loss or restiction until you have a LARGE amount of engine work done to the stock 4.0. that means you'd have to do much more engine work to your block before the throttle body would be become a big enough issue to worry about replacing it with something bigger. until then, it's a waste of money.

Cause there are people that actually believe there claims, ignoring scientific and real world claims, and have tons of money to waste.

spinning air wont do a damn thing... the injectors spray fuel into the combustion chamber and the air is let in thru the intake valve any spiraling air isnt going to be spiralling any more nor would it matter...

and people add on intake kits/free flowing filters for more air flow... putting a tornado in the intake tube is taking up space allowing less air in due to the tube having an obstruction in its path...

the "tornado" or wtf its called is a friggin huge scam.... spend your money on other things or ANYTHING before you break down & buy that sh*t... get an efan or tuner that'll do you much better for hp/ gas mileage gains

i love this. it seems that the more i read new posts. the more im convinced its crap lol. because when you think about it. gas is liquid. not gas.....(Irony?) so when the injectors inject. its supposed to "Swirl with the tornadoes air?......ok NO besides if theres any bends in the intake manifold as soon as it hits a wall. spinning air is gone.

it just doesnt make sense in any way. and yet i didnt think about it until i read this thread.

ok so throttle body spacer useless on fuel injection...bigger throttle body wont help either... if u put a bigger throttle body it will not do anything because your valves are still the same size. therefor you cannot get any more air into your cylinders unless you get new heads with bigger valves..or more valves
