I think you should stay with Motorcraft Plugs, and wires. I got my plugs for autoparts warehouse.com and my wires from rockauto.com I read on here too many people had problems when they mixed and matched plugs and wires.

Never use Bosch plugs in ANY ford. I see waaaaaay to many ford where owners did thier own plaugs changes and all Bosch's do are create check engine lights and missfire codes.

Go with Motorcraft double platinum, or fine wire platinum. For plug wires, I've had good luck from the NAPA custom wires made by Beldon.

I have had Bosch Platinum 4s since 64000 miles. I now have 105000 miles and I haven't had a single problem with the plugs.

I totally agree, Bosch plugs and Ford's EDIS don't play well together!

The previous owner of my Ranger had just put Bosch plugs in it when I bought it. Very shortly, it developed misfires, which was corrected by installing Motorcraft double platinums.

MOTORCRAFT Fine wire plugs are your best bet. Id run Motorcraft wires too.
Other than that, fuel filter, pcv valve, oil change, air filter...ect.
