Torque converter nut replacement

I have Ford ranger 2001 4.0l v6 Sohc I seem to have misplaced my torque converter nuts when i took them off to reinstall the engine into the car can’t find them At all and I live in a Hawaii so my options to get replacements are limited I don’t want to wait a whole week to have a working car does anyone know if it’s bad to just use a hex nut and a washer instead of a flanged hex nut?
