Torque specs
Hi I have a 03 4.0 sohc v6 Ford ranger and am working on installing timing chain kit and I have to put the cylinder heads back on. And I really need help on what are the torque specs for the timing chain components the cam shafts and the cylinder heads any help please thank you?
This thread has most if not all that you will need: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums...ations.406687/
There are tools needed to set up Cam timing and when using these tools WITH a torque wrench the torque ft/lb CHANGES, its lower
Also some of the bolts are LEFT HAND THREAD(LHT) and "click" type torque wrenches won't work in that direction
Head bolts are TTY(torque to yield), so can't be reused, need new ones
