I have a Ranger 4.0L V6 4x4.
I am in search of new shocks. I have a torsion bar kit on the truck already. was There when I bought it. I am not sure what to look for when buying new suspension parts. Do I just search for new shocks, or do I have to take the torsion kit into account?

Also, I have a very loud exhaust. Some people like it. I however do not. The exhaust goes from the manifolds down to the cat. it is supposed to branch off and it used to have dual exhaust. it is now cut off just behind the extended cab and has two exit ports. Short of paying a muffler shop $350 to put all new exhaust on, is there a way I can quiet it down some? preferably without too much power loss.
