I wannna get a Volant intake, who has the best prices?

 

get a MAC intake, best bang for your buck. 125 bucks for the 4.0 kit.

also make a signature it will help everyone in the end

 

does the MAC have an airbox?

 

no it is a cone filter

but the mac has been modified to fit to the stock air box if you want it too

Did you notice any power difference? Was it a clean fit? Had any problems with it? This is sweet!!! I was about to spend all that money on a k&n!

 

yes i noticed a power difference, i really like my intake, its a clean fit and everthing, nice chrome tube, took about 30 min to install. that link is where i got mine. the sucktion sound it make is awesome but most say its just becuase it is a cone filter.

yep np, i was gonna get the AEM one till i saw this one, changed my mind realy fast 125>320.

 

i dont think im sold on the MAC kit, i like the airbox with the Volant kits.

Mac doesn't have one for us 04 and 05 guys either.

 

I jus got a MAC installed on Wednesday. Its awesome, you can find them at www.macmidwest.com too, I have pics on my Cardomain site, the link is in the signature. Check it out. it looks sweet all chromed out, and from everyone ive spoken to they all recommend MAC over K&N, with K&N your paying for some plastic and a Brand name. MAC also gurantees 11.7 HP for the 3.0 V6 Ranger. Hope that helps you out some.

 

Damn a MAC huh? I was thinking I might buy the FIPK that's in the member's classifieds, but I may go with this one instead.
