wow $5000. I spent MAYBE a $800. Alpine 9886, Infinity Basslink 10" sub (pre-enclosed), Sony xPlod Premier Series 6x8's in all 4 corners, and a heavy duty battery. If I had 5k my truck would be in the process of being SAS'd.
Sorry, back on topic. XCAL, get it.

Yes you can tell the difference I think you get like 17hp gain with the super chip. I ran mine on 87 octane only. I could defiantly feel the difference. I know everyone on here talks up the xcal2, but I had no problems with my super chip and have already ordered one for my new truck. I did the super chip, drop in k&n, and dual Gibson exhaust on my ranger and the fuel mileage went from 12 to 15mpg's on 36's. I could get 18 on the highway. The programmer took me from not being able to do a burn out in the pouring **** rain to being able to roast possies on dry pavement. With my setup I don't know what I ran in the quarter mile, but I do know I was faster than an '04 F-150 4.6 on 35's with cold air intake, super chip, and flow masters, and a '03 Dodge 1500 hemi on 38's with exhaust, and a programmer. Not sure what the ram was running for exhaust or programmer. Super chip also reads your cel codes and come with a manual that tells you what they mean. So you don't have to post up the codes and hope someone can read them for you. It also lets you adjust the transmission for firmer shifts and you can change your shift points.

Hopefully that was just the cell phone mic, cuz that sounded like crap.
