What exhaust for the sohc

I am looking to ditch the stock muffler for an aftermarket one. I just cant decide which one. I want something that isnt too loud yet has a good tone to it. I was thinking a super turbo.

If ten people reply, you'll probably get ten different suggestions. I have the Dynomax cat back and love it... not too loud but still noticeable!

I was on a REALLY tight budget, so I bought a thrush glasspack from advance auto parts for $20 and it doesn't sound bad at all. Especially for $20.

Cut entire cat back off replaced with a straight pipe added a Y pipe into 2 tails exiting behind the rear tires with 24x3" polished SS black tips. At idle its a low rumble at 3k plus its obnoxious. In 4wd crawling a rock the low deep growl is amazing

Get what fits your budget but don't be to cheap. Remember you get what you pay for... Flowmaster Magnaflow and Gibson are all going to be the top. I suggest buy a single inlet duel outlet can(muffler) and have a local shop bend all the pipe and weld it. I bought my can for $25 on ebay and the shop welded everything for $125. I have a flowmaster and it sounds nice when I step on it but nothing that will make the 5 0 ( Po po aka Bad boys aka Cops) turn around and give a ticket for being to LOUD

^ do that man. I did that to my Ranger, but I have a 10 series flowmaster. The sound is amazing. It is loud as crap under load, but going about 65-70 it ain't that bad.

Im about to get a MBRP stainless 2.5" cat-back with a 3" 90 to dump right after the muffler.
