Hi, so basically my ranger starts on ether but wont start on its own and no matter how many times I prime it the thing acts like it wants to start and keeps cranking... after replacing the fuel pressure regulator, ecu, fuel pumps, on it still didn't fix my issue. my main question was why can't I read any codes using the jumper wire method? when it's running after using starting fluid it's super rich and black smoke with a check engine light, but when I plug the jumper in and turn the ignition to the on position (engine off) the CEL stays on and won't shut off or flash or atleast do the 111 code if everything was supposedly fine? so I'm not sure what to do at this point... any help appreciated like I said in the past
