i have a 3.0 is it possible to put a 4.0 in it, and what else would i need to change if i did it...

 

yes it is you need a new pcm for the engine. correct engine mounts, radiator, and other small things you can use your old tranny but you need a new clutch, flywheel, and some other stuff. just find one from a guy swaping a 5.0 so you can just drop it in. fairly easy swap

 

negative. the 4.0 doesn't share a transmission with any other motor, except the 2.9.

you will need the motor, tranny, mounts, wiring, computer, hoses, cables, etc.

 

thanks for correcting me. i only know what i read, as far as the swap. im planning on doing one myself if i cant find a 5spd 3.0 tranny soon.
