Will my ranger pull it?

I have an 07' ranger 4x4 with the v6 4.0 and I was wondering if it can pull a 7x12 enclosed trailer with 2-3 quads in it? I think it would. opinions and details please. 3.73 gears I believe.

Yeah, you should be good. I would however invest in a heavy duty trans cooler if towing this trailer is going to be a regular thing....

where would In get one? Price? What's involved in installing this?

I would probably tow it 10-15 times a year on usually 1.5-3 hour trips...

You probably don't have 3.73 gears if you've got 4wd. You likely have 4.10s which makes it even better. You ought to be alright.

Just keep OD off and you'll be fine.

Not necessarily true... I have an 07 4x4 with 3.73 gears which is the standard configuration. The 4.10s are an option.
If you have the Level II, then 4.10s are standard equipment.

You'll be able to do it, but your truck won't like highway speeds. I pull a 6x12 flat bed, and I can REALLY tell it there if I'm on the highway with hills, on the flat, or slower roads it does well though. You'll want to keep the OD off and put a trailer brake controller on for sure.

yeah it will have trailer brakes and that's a good idea by keeping the OD off...

Trailer

I pull a 7x16 enclosed trailer loaded with about 2000 lbs in it. It has 4.0 with 4.10's. The worse part is the gas mileage. Depending on headwind I've got as low as 9mpg.
