`90 front clip on an `86 cab

Anybody know if the front clip off a 1990 Ranger will bolt up to a 1983-1987 cab? I'm also wondering if I can swap the dash from a `90 as well. My reason for asking is I'd like to swap cabs to a pre-1988 to avoid etesting here in Ontario. I have a 5.0 Ranger that runs sweet but won't pass the idle test. I'm pretty much fed up with trying to get it to pass. I only drive it maybe a 1000 miles a year in the summer and now they're making vehicles 10 years or older test every year. Not only that, anything `88 and newer will never be exempt.

yes everything up to a '92 Ranger front end will bolt up to you '83-'87 cab.....the cabs were the same....

the dash will also work, but will take some custom wiring if you don't get the wiring harness....

You will need to replace the inner fenders, which are welded on for everything to "bolt up." Otherwise there are some modifications to make to the front of the inners to make the 90 core support fit. Plus modify the frame for the bumper.
