What's his truck being "historic" have anything to do with it?
And don't emissions laws only change for vehicles before like..1976. I didn't think there was anything that says your vehicle becomes "this many years old" and suddenly the laws change.

In Maryland if your car or truck is 25 years or older and you get historic license plates you don’t have emissions low or Inspections.
I know this because 4 out of 5 of my car were historic -V-V-V-

In 2012 I’m going to put a v8 in my 87. I’m thinking about doing with a 351w stroked and bored to a 392, Forged pistons, 9.7:1 compression ratio, Forged steel connecting rods, Hydraulic roller high performance camshaft, High performance T-sump oil pan, MSD billet distributor, Ford Racing aluminum GT-40 cylinder heads, and GT-40 valve train, 177 Pro–Street Supercharger, and a Holly Fuel Injection system
what do you all think about it
what do you all think about it
I was refering to the people that keep telling him his idea is stupid because no one knows what will happen in the future, when the whole point of this thread is that his truck would be considered "historic" in 6 years and certain emissions laws wont effect him anymore.
