5.0 problems (in a mustang tho )

so pretty recently ive started to have some problems with my car.
problem 1.
my check oil light comes on now bout once every 2 weeks. from what people tell me theres no blue smoke. i park in a garage, and the only thing on the floor is power steering fluid. but there is def. oil spray under my car, (assuming rear main seal) when light comes on i add a quart. and all seems well for 2 weeks.
problem 2.
i get black smoke for a second when i romp on it, but i think my car is running crazy rich. my bumper is covered in soot so is my trunk. ive got a 255 lph pump. cats, all emissions stuff no cel.
problem 3.
car is running hot.... regardless of outside temps, it climbs up to almost 210, and then i put my heat on and it drops a little below 210 (ive got autometer electric gauges)
all last summer i ran the car with just the radiator full, nothing in my overflow, everything was great.
when it first started getting hot, i checked my radiator, it was low, i added fluid. then when it kept running warm, i filled overflow to hot.
192* thermostat, and waterpump i put in less then a year ago. i had carpet up a week or so ago, didnt see any coolat under carpet, so im assuming its not coming from heater core...

like i said earlier, nothing seems to leak except for power steering (not too worried about)
im mostly worried about problem 1 & 3.
would also just like to add, car runs like a champ. ive got all the power ive ever head, dont think i really hear any detonation or pinging or anything.

and coolant is the coolant green color. and oil is black.

I would start with figuring out your air/fuel issue, it sounds like its running very rich which might cause the overheating. Why such a large fuel pump? 19lb injectors? You could try a 180* thermostat to try and bring your temps down some.

You mentioned you put a quart of oil in it every 2 weeks, but have you been checking the dipstick? Is it actually burning through that much oil, b/c that is quite a bit.

yeah :( dipstick is always low. the reason for the large pump, is i had to replace my sending unit, so i did fuel pump at the same time. i figure that way when i do a motor (hopefully this winter) i wont need to drop tank again. everyone on stang forums said it wouldnt mess up my a/f ratio but :-\

i never thought about a/f causing heat issues. any idea how i could aproach fixing it?

Normally a larger fuel pump is not an issue, but if its raising your fuel pressure it might be hurting. I would start with the rich issue, if its leaving soot on your car that's pretty bad then. I'm not to sure off hand how to try and diagnose it, possibly bad O2 sensors.
