Clutch linkage setup question

Hello all,
I just found this forum and I couldnt be happyer to find so many more V8 Ranger people out there.
I have had my 5.0HO in my 86 Ranger for about 4 years now and just love it. I am getting to the point that I realy dont like my clutch cable setup. It is very stiff and realy sucks when you drive around town to long. My question is, Is there an easy/better way to set up the linkage?? I have a cabel set up but it realy is stiff. I would like to go to a hydolic set up, is there a way to do this. I have thought of diferant ways that I can try to do this but would rather have some advice from people that have all ready done this and found something that worked. I would post some pics of my Ranger but havnt figured out how to do that.

you could go with an external slave cylinder setup like on the T5 transmissions.....

The T-5 out of a Mustang has cable and thats what I kept it as when I put it in my Ranger. I couldnt use the original peddle because of the way it had to be hooked up and that self adjuster. So it put quite an angle on the cable where it goes through the firewall and make the peddal hard to push and I break a cable about every year and a half because of it. I cant put the cable through the firewall any where else to stop this because of the brake booster.

Can I use the stock everything else from the Ranger??? The T-5 is a pull type clutch fork and I know I would have to make a braket.
