Exhuast Please

I just bought an 02 Ext Cab. F150 and want to let er roar. What would it cost roughly for a shop tp do an dual exhaust? What should i get?

this is an opiniated question, it is one of those everyone will have a different opinion. Some shops may be around 200 for a kit and others may be 4-5 hundred. Cat back exhuasts are really easy to do on a truck and would probably save you time and headache. plus its a good feeling to do yourself.

My brothers cost about $375 after taxes and he got a single in duel out flowmaster 40 series but i think its to guiet well atleast for my, if i had me a v8 i would straight pipe catback

I would do it myself but i want it welded and im not a welder! Ive heard bad things about the flowmasters?

Could always put clamps on it and install it yourself and then take it to a shop, would save a lot of money that way also or have a friend weld it. Again flowmasters have their followers and then there are other people who hate them. It depends on how much you would like to spend.

i have no idea but muffler to think about is a glasspack, a guy my friend knows had one on his chevy and man it sounded like a beast, now i dont know who made it but all i know is that its a glasspack

The only thing is this is a DD. It gets taken on 500 mile trips and such. I dont want my ears to ring when i get there!

oh yeah i forgot they started the new quiet inside in 2004 so yeah a flowmaster would give you a good sound and not being annoying inside
