Front Sway Bar '86 Ranger

I believe the front sway bars on the early 2wd Rangers were pretty rare. They were mounted underneath the truck, behind the engine. To the radius arm crossmember that has 4 bolts holding it together in the middle. It came forward and the ends were linked to the radius arms. They seemed very crude, almost like they were built or added as an after-thought by Ford. I seriously doubt they were very effective at all.
I plan to look in to adding a later model front sway bar to my 87 302 swap truck in the coming weeks. I already have it. I'm doing a 97 front i-beam/brake swap right now so switching to the 97 sway bar may be the smartest solution for me. I just have to get everything assembled first and then I'll look in to adding brackets to the bottom of the frame to use the later sway bar.
There are some pictures of the front sway bar on a 1st gen Ranger here: https://www.therangerstation.com/for...estion.167903/
