Fuel pump not priming after 5.0 swap!

Hey all. I've finally got my 99 3.0 5 speed Ranger swapped to a 98 5.0 from an explorer. I converted the truck to an auto to keep it simple. I've got the motor in and I swapped the fuel rail, injectors and PCM from a 00 explorer 5.0 so that I could keep my stock Ranger non-return fuel setup. I hooked up the battery and the truck will crank but no start. I can't hear the fuel pump priming, there's no fuel pressure at the rail and my gas Guage is reading way past full even though there's only about a 1/4 tank of gas. Any ideas as to why the fuel pump is acting up? I should mention I've swapped a brand new one in with the same results and it's not a PATS issue because I had the system reflashed and there's no issues with it. I'm so close to getting this thing running again. Please help!

Does the CEL(check engine light) come on with key on, so you know the PCM is powering up, PCM relay is working?

Or have you tried 50/50 test so you know spark is working, so PCM relay is working?

Pin 80 on the PCM, a light blue/orange stripe wire, is the Ground for the Fuel Pump Relay
Fuel pump relay gets 12v from PCM relay with key on
The PCM then grounds pin 80 wire for 2 seconds to activate fuel pump relay, to Prime the fuel system

This grounding of pin 80 would be disabled by PATS in the PCM, hopefully the delete of PATS included activating this Ground

You can pull the fuel pump relay in the engine fuse box to test for this, Relay 5 in my owners manual diagram

1999 Ranger fuel pump relay looks like its a Micro relay so has a base that looks like this: http://www.gtsparkplugs.com/images/m...lay-wiring.jpg

Key off test slots 30 and 87 for 12v, one should be full time 12v, if not then fuel pump fuse is blown
The other slot goes to inertia switch, just FYI

Turn on key, slot 85 or 86 should now be 12v, PCM relay power
The other slot is the Ground that comes from pin 80 on PCM
Put a test light between these 2 slot turn key off and back on and test light should come on for 2 seconds then it might glow a bit, thats normal
Or use a volt meter, should see 12v for 2 seconds then 5-8volts after that

Just to see if engine will start...................lol.................you can put a jumper wire between 30 and 87, this will send 12volts to inertia switch and then fuel pump full time

Other type of relay Ford used is the Mini, looks like this: http://www.gtsparkplugs.com/images/m...iring-840x.jpg

30, 87, 85 and 86 slots all have the same purpose regardless of relay layout
30 and 87 are the load side, high amp passing contacts
85 and 86 is the Coil, low amp, no polarity, as long as one is 12v and the other a ground, relay activates and connects 30 and 87
