I've never heard of a V8 motor swap "kit"

Who makes it?

turn's out it's a "put together" kit that the current owner bought the parts seperately . consisting of advanced adapter's motor mounts . either herman or hedman header's (it is kind of hard to tell from the writeing) . a summit racing fan . and he didn't say about the remote oil filter brand...

Just going off of your picture on the side. with no other information.

i'm going to say it won't work.

i think theres "kits" for 2nd gen rangers for v8s (motor mounts etc) but with your 4th gen, the explorer 302 will bolt right in.(more work than that but you know what i mean)

plus, with your body style, the only "aftermarket" headers are the torque monsters that fit your engine bay. other than custom built ones, nothing clears the frame rails for the 302.

yeah i probably should have noted this in the first post , but anyway i also have a 1st gen 1986 extra cab ranger , basicly a gutted (no engine or transmission) project truck that i was thinking about doing this conversion on , although a 302 in my 99 would be nice too lol , thanks for the info and reply
