so i snagged this great deal on a 1989 fs bronco 4x4 5.0.
I plan to grab everything i need out of it for the swap, then part the rest or sell it outright.
I realize its a speed density motor but for only 350.00 cash it was a sweet deal and has been recently overhauled (trans) with only 120k total on the truck and eng.

seems to run great despite a check eng light ( Im thinking a bad iac motor as it idles up and down) and cracked drivers exh manifold.

so before I tear into this thing what should i plan on taking? while out I plan to fresh'n up the motor, and put some hp parts on as well.
I will also prolly swap to mass air during as well so i assume I wont need the harness or ecu?
can power be made with the current intake? heads? etc... anyone know back ground on truck blocks from 89?
the bronco also has push button 4x4... will that make a direct swap or will I need to get the advanced adapters thing and use my current x-fer case (94 4.0 splash 4x4)?
