The engine now is pretty much assembled but it's not going into the truck until I decide what power adder I'm going to use I'm thinking twin turbos but I think I'm going to run with some clearance issues with the steering shaft and probably I have to eliminate the fender mud shield or whatever it's called. Or I can go with a procharger but I think it's more expensive than turbos but I don't know If I can retain the march performance brackets.

Does anybody know if I could use a bolt on turbo kit from a mustang with minor modification or hopefully none on the truck?

^^^ Heads are trickflow twisted wedge and except for the main caps every stud is
from arp and the heads uses 1/2" studs not 7/16" like a regular 302 block.
And don't worry updates are coming as soon as a get some time off from work!

I have decided to go turbo.
Here's some pics of the long a$$ process that it's taking me.
SNC00051.jpg?t=1241215572

The turbo it's a precision brand and it's capable of pushing 1200 horses

Here's the turbo header that it still needs some work to be done for the wastegate.

Here's a mock up of how is going to look like.

Sorry for the crappy pics. I took them from my cellphone

There is a word I'm trying to think of . . .

Badass is an understatement.

Thanks man.

What are the specs on the turbo? Expected boost? Expected power? Planned Engine Management? Injectors/intake size? Intercooled?

You're running a 3550 aren't you?

Can't wait to see this thing, these kind of builds are irresistible to me. Good luck!

the turbo it's a pt-88 from precision
A/R Ratio
0.96
Inlet/Outlet Size
4"/3"

boost will be from -10psi to break in the engine then from 25 to 30 or more depending if I can handle it or not. engine management don't know yet. injector i got 42 lbs to start then i'll go up when i breakin the motor. intercooler is the going to be a problem for me due to space but I'll figure something out. And I'm running a TKO-500

Sweet. Death on wheels. I like. The engine bay looks like something out of a fox body magazine.
