If you want to do a EFI system then run the RJM harness and save yourself alot of headaches and it will be very dependable.
RJM Injection Tech 5.0L Universal Harness
This system only needs 3 wires hooked up and it will start and run.
You will save time and money with this set up.

Super easy. You can find them all over, from internet to sale ads to wrecking yards and you can pick one up from about $50 and up. I have three extra's that I found from diffrent places that I am holding on to from diffrent projects. Plus look at it this way, if you burn up a computer from Painless be ready to pay their price for a new one as where a factory computer can be picked for alot cheaper and you could probly find one the same day locally where you are and not have to wait or pay for shipping. To many pluses to running the RJM harness as compaired the the Painful harness but, that is your call there.

It's true. I just sold one not too long ago and didn't even get what I wanted for it because they're easy enough to find.
