I have some door speakers that aren't enough at all. Oh well.

i used to have those same kenwood subs.

Now i just have 1 newer kenwood 12". thats enough for me. hits hard.

i got 2 pioneer premier 12's they beat pretty hard and their only on a pioneer 760 watt amp.. their supposed to be about 800watts rms so their way under powered but their good enough for me till i decide i want me ears to bleed

It comes down to the box.

I had one 12 in my previous ranger. It was in a perfect sized box and it was matched with the amp perfectly (both 600w rms). The box was covered and nobody believed it was only 1 sub
