2 18"s installed in 04' Explorer *pics*

Got the box built today for the 2 BTL 18s, went over to a friends house

it is 12 cubes @34hz with 150sq in port, Hifonics XX Goliath @ .7 ohms

It Beats:D ... hard

ran into a problem, one of the wires came undone and i couldnt figure out what happened, we didnt think anything was wrong at first, it was still crazy loud, but got everything fixed now

box weighs a ton, top baffle is 3 layers thick, and the sub is flush mounted in

some pics during the box build and some bad night shots

the tools and speakers along for the ride

Final Turnout:

Since i fixed it, i havnt even went on it yet, only to about avg listening volume, got a good bit to go tomorrow :up2somet:

neighbors suck :(

and to clear this up, i have yet to answer to myslef why im on a ranger forum...

made a vid, just put it in last night and got some good listening in on it today

vids dont show everything good, and i shoulda turned it up a little louder but i couldnt be in there to keep the rpms up so its not all the way up

on the gucci mane song where you see the bag in the window and in the port, thats how much the subs were actually moving on both parts, whihc they barely look like they are, its right at tuning, but they move some serious air

sorry for the min long mike jones song:p:

being a certified installer i would think you would know that a little camera mic isnt going to pick up much of anything of what it sounds like

Nice setup!!! Evan, I doubt he has a cap, just from knowing him.... Caps don't do too much except level the power spike, it's a bandaid solution to dimming lights...Common n3wb kidna thing

BTW, camera mic FTL!!!! But nice vid!

both subs and the amp are a right at 2k$

add component amp, all the 1/0 wire, batteries, DVD indash, alarm and what ever else, it gets up there

batts are 2 optimas under the back seat and batt up front, no alt yet, thats the next thing on the list

it dosent actually do bad at all when your driving

cam mic FTL x2

Awesome work man, don't let anyone try and tell you thats not a nice setup, I don't care how many year's they have installed. There are guys at Best Buy that would probably say the same thing : ) Anyways, we all know a camera mic, or an mic, will never pick up the sounds those subs put out. Great job!

nice setup you got there. you got a chance to meter it yet?

if you got a second, check out www.splbassx.com/forums it is a small community of car audio nuts. lots of good information and very little of the bull that you get on caraudio.com forums

I admire the work and time and money that you put into this setup, but I need more room than that, I mean the whole trunk is full....... Nice job with the setup tho.....
