If I were you, I'd go with some Sony Xpld's. I loved mine. I powered mine with a boss 2,000w amp and a 2 Farad capacitor. Slammed soooo hard

I bet they were a bit louder than the sa-15's. The odd shape of the Sony's helps them move more air which makes them louder.

my friend suan has 6 15" kicker CVRs and they sound beond amazing!
ive done some research on his and i like them.
plus i dont like the way the sonys look. and i dont trust sony products. im running all kenwood except my subs. and my old school kickers are lasting forever and ive put them through abuse so i know kicker makes so really good subs. my hardest choice to make is weather i want square or round..... no one i know has square. does anyone know why?

I think you missed the sarcasm in his post. Sony sucks, he knows that

You should see the stuff some of these guys here are running, blows kicker out of the water

Why does no one have square subs? Because they look retarded

kicker is not known for sq, they do get loud but sound like crap.

look at DC lvl 3, sundown SA-15, SSA icon. u will be very very happy with any of these.

with 3 15s u will need to wall, i can do a design if u want me too, iv thought about do 3 15" DC XLs walled on 7k but box is really big, u will need 9ft^3 net.

because l5's and l7's are expensive. everybody has cvr's and cvx's because they're cheap and every store sells them.

i think kicker is a good brand for as mainstream as they are . i've run their high end components and zx amplifiers and was (is) very satisfied... only negative to their amps is how much heat they produce. and i've seen and heard what the L series subs can do... i'd pass up the cvr's and cvx's... they're less than impressive.

say what you want about sound quality but if you want 3 15's chances are you care more about loud, undistorted bass rather than proportionate tonality throughout the sound spectrum...

Let's not forget that awkwardly shaped square woofers have weird pressure points in the surround unlike a comparable round woofer, and a square is just naturally harder for the cone to stay linear, and nyancat just frowns upon that.

So far I've been happy with one 15 L7, no complaints other than I need to feed it more power

One would think with that much money to splurge he would have done something a little nicer with the lights under the bumper, and maybe covered the box with something?. I'm pretty sure I've seen this truck before though, maybe around Orlando/Altamonte? The decal is something I would remember.
