i got question i looking for putting some subs in my reg. cab ranger i was thinking of 4 8" or 3 10" i really kinda want the 3 10" but when wired up the give weird ohm loads and i dont know how amps like 2.6 or 1.3 ohm loads so i was thinking of 4 8" to keep the ohm loads right i was wondering what the difference between 8's and 10's in my explorer i had 4 12" so i like my bass any suggestion on what to do guys.

my buddy had 2 fosgate 10s(old versions) in his single cab s10 and they pounded!

 

dunno but i had 3 10s in my xlt one kicker comp and 2 kenwood and 2 amps...WOW is all i have to say, i had the 2 kenwoods wired together with a 600 watt jbl amp and the kicker with a kicker 200x2 amp...

 

hey timpat how big was your box and where did you put your amps do you have any picture of it

check TC sounds, Fi(same guy that designed all of RE's subs) Stereointegrity, ascendent audio(ascendant sp?) there are a few others

 

No i dont have a picture but it basically sat on the ledage in the back of the extended cab and had to legs that help it it...the box size was huge lets see...40x16x16 wit a 5 inch gap at the bottom for my amps and wires to hide under..it took 2 people to get it in..thats why i cant get pics of it in my truck...i only one here and already tried...
