I already have the Pioneers in my truck. I like them but I just want something with a little more quality.

the infinity marine speakers are the best I've ever heard. i have a 1000watt amp hooked up to each pair and they handle every bit of it with absolutely no distortion. I am seriously impressed with them and they look real good

1000 watts is way too much...not to rain on your parade but you probably have a low cost amp that says 1000w and is not truly that. I have MBQuart 6.5's that handle ~60w RMS and are run off an Alpine amplifier that is 100w RMS for each speaker and it's overpowering the speakers. But, if your setup sounds great to you that's all that counts. The only thing you get with a more expensive amplifier is a better sound quality but for the huge cost (meaning $X000+) it's not worth the expense lol. I'm not saying that I have top quality expensive components but there's a ton to learn about audio. Search about amps being benchtested to see what their actual power is. I just searched up a Lanzar 1000w amp that has a 25A fuse...I have a Soundstream amp that is rated at 600RMS and has a 140A fuse; quite a difference (tells you how much power it really uses).

Another note about this starting thread...I have my tweeters mounted on the door at the top plastic panel nearest the side mirrors and I recommend against mounting them there...the steering column is in the way of the driver's side one and they are just aimed too much to the center of the vehicle rather than aimed toward the riders. The best setup I've heard in a Ranger is with the tweeters mounted up in the black dash panel aiming straight up into the windshield...it disperses the sound very well for both/all people in the truck.
