component speakers????

component speakers????

Does anyone in here have component speakers???? Do they really sound that much better? All ready got the system jus Look at my cardomain pics. looking to get some component speakers tho...?

I do, Alpine SPR-57LS. Don't know if they sound better than comparable coaxial speaker, but I love it. The tweeter up high makes it much, much better for sound stage. I used to have old top of the line Polk component set in my SE-R, the Alpine beats it. Highly recommend it. Got mine for like $135 shipped from E-Bay.

yes components tend to make your system sound better. be prepared to spend some money if you're picky about sound, as i was, lol.

components make a tremendous difference man...u get dedicated mid bass/mids and highs.

i would look heavily into RE (resonant engineering) components...word is they are the best bang for the buck.

kool!! I mean i got the system!!!! It sounds sweet as ****!! but i want it louder!! i set off a car alarm yesterday!!! lol whoops!

here's a pic of my Morel's.. when i got them new they cost more than some people pay for their entire systems, lol.. so...

u would have to get a 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 and make an adaptor outta ply wood.

my rainbows sound awsome, i love them, midbass is crazy , but for components an external amp is better

I do, but I still can't figure out to post pics on this forum, or any forums I belong too
