New Audio installed

Ok here it is. Got new 5x7's in the back, and a new panasonic deck, waiting on the funds to get components in the front.

Well Honestly the polks aren't what I was expecting, it could just be speaker placment but it feels like the frt. stockers have more bass then the rear polks. I am going to go all out and get some highend frts components and probably through a small amp in there. Any suggests on frts?

Components, I like the JL 5x7 components just for ease of installation. Past that, I like Boston Acoustics... can't remember the model because i just kept putting "sound system" to the bottom of my to-do list for the truck.

Did you install any baffles? That can help the lower frequencies.

for the front components if you really want a "highend" set, look at
CDT ES---------$680-$1200
CDT ES(Z)------$880-$920
CDT ES-07------$1000-$2500
Morel Elate------$550-$620
Morel Ovations--$???
SEAS Lotus-----$900+
Rainbow--------$300-$2000
Focal W's-------$???
Utopia Be-------$???

Any of the Focals are gonna run you at least a grand. If you were going to buy any of these speakers, I'd get some custom kicks made instead of the ole Qlogic ones.

Definitely don't expect miracles, but yes they are worth every penny!

infinity speakers are nice. I like alphasonik but noone thinks of it cause they aren't that popular. My favorite though. I'd try the polks with the amp wired up to them, they might just need the power to get the sound you want.

you could get like a 10" sub to measure the bass out, but i also like bass in the speakers.

i agree w/ "karpe". I installed a pair of 6.5 diamond audio comp. up front and it made all the sound difference in the world. they aren't too cheap but i say they were worth every penny. I went with the infiinity kappa perf. 6x8's for the rear and it leveled the sound out nicely.
