Take her for a test drive! lol

The interface looks cool, can't be too horribly bad.

i would deff go another route... my buddy has a dual that he got installed at best buy, and the display goes out after 6months. i would look into jvc or kenwood, they have some cheap headunits but they will work way better.
i also have a pioneer premier deh 6800mp that i need to sell, its 3weeks old, and ill leave ya all the plugs and mounting brackets so all ya gotta do is unplug ur stock h/u and slide this one in. 225+shipping. (not meaning to hi jack the thread)

but i would look for something else other than dual...

DUAL is not that bad of a headunit. They are definitely not up there with your name brands, but hell most of the name brands have been around for years and have alot more money to do R&D.

that particular head unit is a very nice one. one of my friends has it in his truck and has had it for about 1 year now. his is red though. he loves it.

now i will say, that their claimed output is, IMHO, an exaggeration. it's probably closer to 45-48 watts at peak...but it's still a good unit

Thanks for your help guys. I sent my wife the link to that one and a JVC that Best Buy has for my Christmas list. Unfortunately $150 is the top of the budget for us this year.

Im really looking for lower power, only because of budgeting issues Im using my factory speakers...for now. What can the factory speakers take anyway? I turn my Kenwood up pretty loud and the stockers are handling them as good as I could expect, no disturbing amounts of distortion yet, blowing them will give me the kick in the **** to save for a new set. Someday I want to modifry the jumpseats and put a sub there, but I still need a place to 2 kids to sit

it has been said already, but they are entry level. a guy whom used to work at bb told me a few stories about how often they were coming back, and even the display modle they had was junk, ie broken (and people would still buy it) and the rated power is maybe more like 15 watts per ch.
