Anyone running a sony or rockford sub in the ranger or subs.If so what kind and what amp.How do they sound and hit.And some info on your set up with pics if possible.Looking at putting 1 12" in my supercab and either going with a sony set up to match my head unit or a rockford sub/amp combo. Thanks!

I own a rockford and a kicker. I prefer the Rockford anyday over the kicker. Rockfords make great audio equipment. I've never had a problem. I am not running any of my subs in my ranger yet because I don't exactly have enough room.

i have a single cab and i'm running 2 kenwood subs and a 300 watt monoblock amp which is more than plently for the cab its great, i love kenwood everything i got is kenwood. its in a sealed box which is better at hitting i think because its clearer to me, but i will get some pics of it up later

I use to have 2x10 rockfords on a 200watt amp. It was pretty good sounding. I went to something that was more space friendly.

I've had these subs for about 7 years now, and they have been abused by amps 400W up to 1400W. I'm now running a 600W Fosgate amp to them and they still sound great. Not enough air in the cab, so winter is no fun, but they pound in the summertime with the windows down.

I run a single 12 inch shallow mount Rockford p3s powered by a rockford amp and its a beauty. Hits great shakes the whole truck. luckily rangers dont rattle like rice burners.

Infinity makes great speakers as well, i run them off a rockford amp.

great sound. rockford is great and get the gain controller.

i have a 12" rockford p3 in a shallow mount box with an alpine m-500 amp pushing it. sounds extremely clean with a good, deep bass sound. alpine amps are also one of the best brands for amps along with JL.

i disagree i can hear panels shaking outside my truck if i leave the system going .... "rice burners" only rattle if the plate is on the trunklid, had a lot of plate rattle with my accord, but with my integra not so much
