My sister has a 05 ford focus and just put a new after market deck in. her stock cd changer looks better than mine. i was wondering can i put her stock 05 focus changer in my 06 ranger.

Well you could find out by make suring they are the same size and look on the back that the wires are the same.

as long as it will plug in the back of your radio, then it will work.

 

Her's is double din and does not have the same installation tabs as yours (re=NO holes in sides). It will not work without some modification. Even then, I am not sure the plug is correct for hers.

ok you were talking about the 6-disk indash changer. no!!! do not put that in, it is only a matter of time before the trays for the 6 disks inside the radio get missaligned and then the CD player will not work at all. i see this all the time when people pull in there ford for a new CD player at work because the 6-disk changer jammed up.
