lol you guys crack me up

um so now that you guys have had these basslinks/bass tubes for a while has the audio bug caught you cause i started out with a 6.5" bass tube n that wasnt enough so i went to a single 8 wiht 125rms going to it that wasnt enough so i got another 8 and had 125rms going to both. that wasnt enough so i got my single 10 inch infinity reference and 350rms going to it and its TOO MUCH so now i wont be upgrading for a while and change rattling isnt much lol change jumping out of your cupholder is real bass.

No, it hasn't. I'm unwilling to spend the money or allocate the space for a "real" system. I've heard real setups and they are as much better than what I have as what I have is better than stock.

But it's just not a priority. I can hear the bass lines well now (I'm a bassist) and feel the music and for what I'm willing to spend and the space I'll give up, that's good enough.

I agree with John, I'm happy with what I have, and I think it would be nice to have a larger system, but I just can't justify spending the money for it.

I actually took the one in the pics on my cardomain site out, and I built a new sturdier box out of wood and fiberglass, and painted it black instead of covering it with fabric.

I still have the old one, and you can have it for free if you'd like. I used cardboard as the mold, and glassed over the cardboard, so it's not as strong as the new one I made, but it is strong enough to support the Basslink. You'll have to get some different fabric to cover it with though, because I took the fabric off. It's not perfect by any means, I didnt know much about fiberglass back then, so it's got PLENTY of imperfections , which is why i covered it with fabric instead of painting it.

I removed my drivers side jump seat and installed my Basslink there. I covered up the non carpeted area nicely. I just screwed the brackets right thru the back of the cab with stainless screws. and installed the remote level on the little cubby on be the cup holders.
Good cheap bass out of this unit.

The only downside of the unit is if you use the auto turn off and speaker line inputs, when you have the truck off and pound on the door, the door speaker acts as a microphone and you can hear the pounding thru the sub. But I still love it for the price. I have had it for over a year with no problems.

I put my remote level control in the hole where the cigarette lighter mounts -- I don't smoke, and the power point connection is still there for aux power. I found a gray **** that doesn't look out of place, giving a nice "stock" look, I think.
