Icon5 custom amp mount

So I currently have my amplifier just sitting on the floor behind my passenger seat. I have been thinking about removing that jump seat and building a custom box or something to mount my amp to against the back wall to get it off the floor. My problem is, my power wire is not long enough to go that extra two feet. Do they make a butt splice for 4 ga. wire?

Any audio store has a butt connector thing too. OR.....you can temperarily mount it onto your sub box...that's what i do. Until i make a new box and amp rack.

I made my own box.
It seems to work pretty good.

If you want to avoid the cost of making or buying a "box" or something to mount your amp you can do what I did

This way it just keeps it off the floor so stuff won't accidently get tossed on it and it won't get as dirty
