Cut Throughs

Has anyone ever done one? I plan on cutting the wall out for 3 10's and wanted to research a bit before I do it, just to settle the nerves a bit. Anyone know of a how-to, have pics, or any suggestions?

cut throughs are repairable, and you can make it so it never looked like there was one there

however its not cheap to fix it

i dont see the point in it. if youre willing to cut your truck apart in the first place, why not do some custom work to the interior to get the sound you want.

how you going to get the bass from a blowthru out of a reg cab without cutting for a blowthru? My friend has a box that takes up 1/3 of the bed, now how is he supposed to find room for that in a regular cab? and he actually made the box smaller then he should have too

There is a guy on here his name is Jey & his s/n is 034x4 & he has a friend who has a single cab Ranger that he is about to get a cut through, but I don't remember if he said 3 10's or 3 12's, but here is a pic of his truck...

Hey cut-throughs arent that bad if u take the time and effort into doing them right, mine wasent done with the greatest attention to details so I had to spend a lot of extra time making it right. I also agree with Scott wut other options does a regular cab guy have if he wants subs that are gonna need a large amount of air space, and yes a cut through is fixable just like anything else u just need the $$$ to get it done. This is a subject ur gonna have to think hard on tho cuz ull be cutting a hole in the cab of ur truck. If u decide on doing it maybe u should think of doing something alittle different then the standard rectangle hole try like a triangle. This way when u seal it up with the accordion boot the water would run down the 2 sides instead of sitting ontop of the boot like it would with a rectangle hole.
